For those who are not familiar with your work, can you describe what people might expect to find at your Wild Hare Creations pop up?

People that stop by will find a variety of very unique art pieces. I have resin necklaces containing mushrooms, dried flowers, honeycomb, and more. There’s always oddity displays showing off bits of the natural world. There’s paintings and prints featuring nature and animals. There could be plushies, mini sculptures, geode wall art, wood burned boxes, charms, and more.

You create a range of art from glass paintings, terrariums, and more using lots of organic items like moss, mushrooms, crystals, dried flowers, snakeskins and even bones. What are your favorite pieces to create lately?

My art varies as time goes on, I like to make unique pieces with whatever I find, or whatever peaks my interest at that point in time.

Terrariums and oddity displays will always be my favorite things to make. I can either sculpt something to create a new mini world or I can use pieces of nature that I have sustainably harvested/obtained to capture the beauty of the world.

Where do you find inspiration for your work?

My pieces are very random but always inspired by nature and magic. Nature is beautiful and remarkable and by creating art that brings attention to items often overlooked, I hope to provide people with a new view of the world around them.

Do you offer custom orders? What's the best way to contact you?

I love to do custom work with people and the best way to reach me would be through instagram @wildharecreations

What's your favorite Downtown LH gem?

My favorite Downtown spot has to be the La Carcacha food truck. They are great people that create a fun atmosphere for their customers, and their tacos are by far the best I’ve ever had.
