October | First Friday Presents: The Borrowers Livestream Experience
An album is a meticulous, vulnerable journey to be celebrated. The release of Semblance is a pivotal milestone for The Borrowers and represents the artistic and cultural efforts of musicians in Lake Havasu City.
Join The Borrowers as they take you through the layered sounds of Semblance. Woven between songs, the bandmates will give you a closer look into their personal inspirations and experiences, through a curated Q&A.
Catch the livestream on @firstfridayhavasu Facebook and Instagram.
Meet the Band
Comprised of lead singer/rhythm guitarist Cameron Marin, bassist Elliot Seidel, drummer Jake Hoffman, and lead guitarist Dylan Barnick, The Borrowers have forged a unique sound that’s been described as Indie Rock, Progressive Rock, Baroque Pop, Post-Punk Revival, Alt Rock, New Wave, and Pop/Rock. One listen to the band’s recent release Semblance will quickly make all those descriptions make immediate sense and get you clued in to this energetic and deeply lyrical crew.
The band was ready to take their songs to the world before COVID-19 hit but all involved are now adapting to this new reality and preparing for the pandemic’s aftermath. For now, the band is happy to share a live experience with you over the internet. A video and a new album are also in the works. When music goes live again, The Borrowers will be ready.

Cocktails & Jams with DreadKnot
DreadKnot plays live from Portland & Jason is mixing Old Jamaicans.
Chill out with the feel-good melodies of DreadKnot as they play live from their latest album, Rainfall.
In between songs, the band will share their journey as a small town band to now sharing the stage with nationally-renowned artists in the Pacific Northwest, and how they are adjusting as artists during the COVID-era.
DreadKnot was formed in Lake Havasu in 2018 and has relocated to Portland, OR to pursue a career in music. Justin Marshall, Ryan Smart, and Tanner Town made the move and met up with drummer Lennon Stevens. DreadKnot has since performed with dozens of local artists including Balance Trick and Iron Prophecy as well as several national touring acts like Grieves and The Hold Up.
